UPS WorldShip and ShipStation integration for Sage 50 U.S.
ShipSync sends Sage 50 ORDER or INVOICE detail to UPS WorldShip or ShipStation for shipping and will post tracking information and freight-cost back to the transaction in Sage 50. This integration can be configured to run manually, or automatically (ShipStation only) without any user interaction.
UPS WorldShip is a desktop application published by UPS that carries no additional cost to use. Additionally, you may be eligible for 'technology credits' through the UPS Digital Connections program that could help cover the cost of ShipSync licensing.
ShipStation is a web-based shipping software that offers a common interface to the back-end shipping APIs of Federal Express (FedEx), United Parcel Service (UPS), United States Postal Service (USPS), DHL, and other major carriers.

Many users of ShipStation realize substantial savings by leveraging rates ShipStation has negotiated with carriers. In many cases, these rates are lower than what merchants have negotiated independently with the big shipping providers. ShipSync is the enabler of these savings if you are not already using ShipStation. You don't have to use ShipStation's negotiated rates. You can continue using your own account if your own rates are better. Depending upon the volume of shipments that you make each day, utilizing ShipSync with ShipStation has the potential to return your investment in a very short period of time. Users of UPS WorldShip realize softer savings given that ShipSync doesn't consume a Sage 50 user license while running. Sage 50 needs to be installed on the shipping computer for access to the Sage 50 API, but no user need be logged in. This frees that user license for someone else in your organization to utilize on a daily basis. show less
