Tracking Write-Back
ShipSync will write tracking information back to either the INTERNAL or CUSTOMER notes on the Sage 50 ORDER or INVOICE. This tracking content includes everything a customer needs to know about the order.
Freight Write-Back
ShipSync will write-back freight charges to either the INVOICE or ORDER transaction in Sage 50, whichever you have targeted in the configuration. The freight charge returned from ShipStation is modified, based upon configurable options in ShipSync, before being written to Sage 50.
Supports Alternate Billing
If you have customers that want you to use their own shipping account numbers, ShipSync offers you native functionality for managing them. You no longer have to rely on the limited fields available in the Sage 50 Customer master file to maintain these values. ShipSync allows you to maintain account number by Customer and Carrier. These account numbers are automatically picked-up and passed to ShipStation during the transfer. Freight write-backs are appropriately ignored for Customers using their own account.
Mark-Up Rules
ShipSync offers you a number of options for appropriately marking-up freight before it is posted back to the ORDER or INVOICE in Sage 50. These markups can be applied on a general-basis or a more granular level based on customer and shipping method. Flat-rate and/or percentage-based mark-up can be applied.
Fast Freight Quotes
ShipSync allows you to quickly poll for expected freight for an existing order or an intended packaging configuration. Enter the minimum information required and get back available options for all carriers and service levels. The list returned is ordered by cost to inform decision making.
Semi or Fully-Automated
Depending upon your business process, ShipSync can be run in a semi-automated or fully-automated mode. The semi-automated mode allows you to, on-demand, send an order to the ShipStation dashboard. The fully-automated mode will send orders to ShipStation based upon the 'Track-It' status in Sage 50. If required, custom statuses can be configured to trigger the exports to ShipStation. When an order is ready for shipment, simply change the status as required. Freight write-backs to Sage are always fully-automated. ShipSync will detect shipments in ShipStation and automatically write-back freight and tracking information.
